Our Biotechnology group includes Ph.D.s and other attorneys with formal scientific training who have personally contributed original research to a variety of fields, including immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and plant sciences.

Advanced degrees, scientific research experience and practical business experience in the biotechnology industry enable these lawyers to understand and appreciate technical innovations quickly, and to focus efficiently on our clients' legal needs.

We have extensive experience in securing and advising on patent rights in all aspects of the biotechnology spectrum, including bioinformatics, genomics, antisense technology, recombinant DNA technology, monoclonal antibody applications, transgenic plants and animals, diagnostic assays and medical devices. Moreover, we are also skilled at the complex issues which arise in defending and asserting biotechnology patents, having handled several major litigation matters in this field.
