Professional Experience

Justin J. Oliver’s practice focuses on patent matters including prosecution, inter partes proceedings at the Patent and Trademark Office, licensing, opinions, and mergers and acquisitions. Some of the technologies he has worked with include medical devices, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor technologies, optics, image processing and reproduction devices, software applications, manufacturing systems, light emitting diodes, navigation systems and various household goods. 

While in law school, Mr. Oliver served as the Executive Editor of the Journal of International Law and Policy, as well as on the Executive Moot Court Board.

An example of his litigations include representing:

  • Medtronic against GE Medical Systems Global Technology in an interference involving surgical navigation technology.
