Professional Experience

Melissa Alberts practices intellectual property law with an emphasis on complex patent and Hatch-Waxman litigation in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical arts. While in law school, Ms. Alberts served as President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and as a Senator of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Alberts competed in the Richard S. Giles Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Alberts was a Research Biochemist in the pharmaceutical industry for five years and has significant experience in High-Throughput Screening and Laboratory Automation.
