Professional Experience
Robert J. Czarnecki, Jr. is engaged in all aspects of the firms' patent practice, with a focus on complex patent litigation. Mr. Czarnecki's experience spans a wide variety of technologies, including computer software, pharmaceuticals, mobile electronic devices, electronic facsimile technology. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in multi-defendant litigations and has experience litigating cases arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act. Mr. Czarnecki also has experience with pre-suit investigations, non-infringement and invalidity opinions and intellectual property due diligence.
Mr. Czarnecki’s undergraduate research focused on wireless interference suppression and he published a thesis entitled Adaptive Interference Suppression in M-QAM OFDM Wireless Systems in the Presence of a Non-Linear Amplifier and Phase Noise using Antenna Arrays.
While in law school, Mr. Czarnecki worked as a scientific advisor and gained experience prosecuting domestic and international patent applications, drafting right to use and non-infringement opinions and litigating chemical and design patents, trademarks and copyrights.
Mr. Czarnecki is a member of the Advisory Board for the Patent Law Program at New York Law School.
